Curratech was set up in 2002 by Richard O'Connor.

Prior to that, Richard had worked as a programmer, network analyst and web developer for a major Irish Semi-State organisation.

His experiences of web design go back to the early '90s when the Internet was still in its infancy.

One of his earlier successes was the directory site "IrishLynx.com" [now, sadly no longer active] which was one of the first Irish Directory portals.

Richard has diplomas in Web Design and Web Development issued by the International Academy of Computer Training. He also is qualified under the Joint Examining Board as a Technical Trainer.
